Street Fighter 6 shows off Mai Shiranui, a guest character that will be available on February 5

Capcom has announced that on February 5, Street Fighter 6 will add Mai Shiranui to its roster, who becomes the second guest character in the history of the franchise after Terry Bogard. Both are from SNK. The popular kunoichi, who was originally conceived as a ninja, has revealed her landing date in the fighting game through a trailer with gameplay where we can see his gameplay while he faces Chun-Li among others. Possibly this is the fight between the two best-known female characters of the genre.

Mai Shiranui first appeared in Fatal Fury 2 (1992) showing off a ninjutsu fighting style and breast physics never seen before. Later Dead or Alive (1996) gave a good account of this. Mai appears in the Capcom fighting game with a set of movements inspired by SNK classics, in addition to Fatal Fury we have seen her in The King of Fighters, which are fused with «the modern touches of Street Fighter mechanics 6». Like the rest of the additional characters, Mai will be available in Fighting Ground and Battle Hub modes. It will also be part of the World Tour.

The Mai character is included in the Year 2 Character Pass (29.99 euros) and Year 2 Ultimate Pass (49.99 euros). Both offer access to four additional characters (M. Bison, Terry, Mai, Elena), but the second accompanies them with more outfits for each one as well as two additional scenarios. These fighters can also be purchased separately. After Mai, which will be available on February 5, Street Fighter 6's second season pass will only have to deliver the young Elena who will arrive next spring.
