The Xbox Developer Direct 2026 menu includes Fable and Forza Horizon 6 from Playground Games and Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak. The three games agree that they have already been presented, little has been shown about them and they will be available on Game Pass. The first time we talked about the new Fable installment was in 2026. During these six years the title has barely been seen. This has to change today. Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games should not only show off the new Fable with generous gameplay, but they should also offer a release date and liven it all up with plenty of information about the game.
Forza Horizon 6 was presented in September 2025 and the Xbox Direct will mark its launch. We know that this installment is set in Japan, but the only thing we have seen of its landscape is Mount Fuji. Playground Games promises to offer a reflection of the country, with real locations and the most detailed and complex environments yet. Beyond the location that will also serve to celebrate Japanese automobile culture, one of the main novelties of this installment is the change that the game and the landscape will undergo with the passing of the seasons. Regarding the date, it was leaked a few days ago and all that remains is to confirm the information.
In third (but not last) place we have Beast of Reincarnation, an action RPG that was shown for the first time at the Xbox Game Showcase in 2025. Today this game developed by the creators of Pokémon will be seen again, and like its colleagues, it should accompany the footage with a release date. Beast of Reincarnation invites us to follow the journey of Emma, a cursed girl who, along with Koo, her canine companion, survive in a post-apocalyptic Japan that has been consumed by corruption and supernatural creatures. It is an action RPG that promises technical and demanding combat.
Is there anything else? The 2025 Xbox Developer Direct showed us two surprise games. Ninja Gaiden 4, which was presented with gameplay and promising a release for that same year, and Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, which appeared out of nowhere and went on sale as soon as the event ended. Rumors say that the 2026 Xbox Developer Direct hides a fourth game that has not yet been identified. There is talk of a title first-partybut on a smaller scale than those mentioned. In a few hours we will clear up doubts and discover if it is a shadow drop or not.
