Kingdom Come: Deliverance II reaches 3 million copies placed three months after its launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG). The last (and first) time that Warhorse Studios reported on the sales of the Open World RPG and set in the fifteenth century was in mid -February, when it took the stores about two weeks and had reached the 2 million units placed. In comparison, the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance released in February 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC needed more than two years to reach 3 million copies sold.
In addition to having commercial success Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has enjoyed the approval of critics, which has granted an average grade that is around 90 out of 100, and the favor of Steam players, who have valued it with thousands of «very positive» reviews. Also, in the Valve store the title has managed to add 256,000 simultaneous users, more than double those that the first installment got.
Regarding Kingdom Come: Deliverance, the last sales figure offered by Warhors Studios were the 8 million units that had been in November 2024. Since then it has managed to add 2 million more copies. Not bad for a title that adds more than 7 years in the market. Many in the industry still without taking note, but once again a game for a player has shown us that, when things are done well, the commercial trajectory of this type of proposals goes far beyond the launch and the first months. A few days ago Resident Evil 4 and Eden Ring, two other games for a player, have reached 10 million and 30 million copies sold, respectively.
Returning to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the future of the title is to expand its content through the season pass that contemplates the launch of three contents that will arrive throughout this year. These accessories will be added to the updates, including the one that a couple of weeks ago added the hardcore mode.
