Capcom has announced that on Wednesday, August 13 at 4:30 Cest, Monster Hunter Wilds players will have a new update with content and improvements available. The company has also published a letter from the Yuya Tokuda game director, where in addition to talking about the news of the update, the complications of the PC version are addressed, which since its launch has presented performance problems due to the intensive use it makes of the processor. At the content level, the great contribution of this update are new versions of tanned monsters for those looking for a greater challenge.

For PC players, Capcom recognizes by the mouth of the game director that Monster Hunter Wilds still has to improve their performance and optimization. With today's update problems are corrected to shadowing compilation and reduces the impact of antitrampas measures on the processor «by approximately 90 %.» In addition, Tokuda remembers that the game has support for DLSS 4 and FSR 4, two technologies that together with the generation of frames offer an option to reduce the load of the CPU and improve the SPF.

Looking ahead, Capcom promises to continue working on improving the performance of Monster Hunter Wilds on PC. In update 3 planned for September, improvements will be applied in the load load, and in update 4 that should be in winter, the reduction of the CPU workload will be discussed. It is a process that Tokuda explains must be done carefully because they can affect the performance of the game. Finally, the director says they will address the reduction of the GPU load in the same way.

On the other hand, with this update Monster Hunter Wilds players with RC 100 or higher may meet tanned versions of the following nine monsters: King Dau, Uth Duna, Nu Udra, Jin Dahaad, Gore Magala, Arkveld, Mizutsune, Lagiacrus and seregios. The normal and tanned versions of Rey Dau and Nu Udra will appear in the hole of the injured with RC 100 or higher. Capcom notes that the monster appearance rate with RC 100 or higher has been adjusted, while the normal monster appearance has been slightly increased. The patch also includes many adjustments and error correction.
