In the trailer we can see four weapons, Sword, Greatsword, Poledlade and Scythe, each of which offers a different style of play with their combos, movements and special attributes. Tradition sends and all options meet what is expected of them. Sword is the balanced alternative that develops well in any scenario; Greatsword is a heavy weapon with powerful movements; Poledlade allows you to launch attacks from a distance and looks like a good option to deal with several enemies; And finally Scythe is the ideal choice for those who prefer to lift enemies and fight in the air.
One of the characteristics of Lost Soul's combat system is that it allows you to change weapons at any time to chain attacks and throw combos. The game rewards those who synchronize control of the buttons and execute movements with several weapons. For example, changing the Sword for the Greatsword is a good idea to finish off an exposed enemy, while mixing the poblade and the Scythe allows you to extend the air combos. To all this we must add that weapons can be improved and customized with special fragments. This system also allows you to change its appearance.
In the trailer it does not appear, but Lost Soul assists hides an additional weapon. Kaser, the protagonist of the game, is accompanied by a dragon called Arena that in addition to offering skills and powers has its own indicator. This indicator is filled using attacks and skills and allows to invoke sand claws to execute a powerful attack. This ability can also be improved as the story progresses.
