Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition will be available on August 14

At the end of May Relic Entertainment, he said he was going to get Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War from the trunk of memories with a remaster, and today announces that the game already has a release date and price: August 14 for PC through Steam and Gog in exchange for 29.99 euros. Next to this information the development team has launched a trailer where we can see an updated version of the kinematics with which the title welcomes.

Players who have Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Anniversary Edition in their library and want to acquire the definitive Edition will receive a 30 % discount on Steam and GOG. This reduction is not to encourage the title quickly because it will remain in the near future. On the other hand, Relic Entertainment has commented that Remaster will include all original translations and add support for the simplified Chinese. There are also news for the multiplayer. The study says it will not make any equilibrium adjustment, but it has solved several bugs that will help improve the experience in this way.

«Although our main objective is to update the game to adapt it to modern hardware, we have not neglected your comments,» says Relic. «The equilibrium of the multiplayer mode will continue to be largely the same, but we have corrected some of the most notable errors. Although they will not be solved for the launch, we are prepared to launch hotfix […]. In addition, we are experiencing changes in elements that have a great impact when improving playability, such as flying units or the trajectory of the infantry and vehicles […].

In addition to remastering graphics to play in 4K and a game adapted to current hardware, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War – Definitive Edition has a greater drawn distance, improvements in textures and lighting, more detailed shadows and reflexes in the units. At the content level we have the base game next to the three expansions available: Winter Assault, Dark Crusade and Soultorm. In total there are four campaigns and nine factions. To this we must add the multiplayer, units with a higher level of detail, a camera that better shows the battlefield, an optimized interface and compatibility with mods.
