The State of Play has captured a good number of news, starting with the return of the original God of War trilogy in the form of remake. Kena: Scars of Kosmora was also presented at the event, Koei Tecmo announced that it has a new Dead or Alive in its hands, Konami has put Castlevania in the hands of the creators of Dead Cells and John Wick will star in an action game with Keanu Reeves. Furthermore, we saw the first trailer with gameplay of Control Resonant and we discovered that Silent Hill: Townfall is a first-person game.

We also attended an event dedicated to the Diablo saga where the protagonist was the sorcerer. This class is now available in Diablo II: Resurrected with the Reign of the Warlock expansion and will accompany the Paladin in Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred. On the other hand, to the list of games already available we have added: Reanimal, Crisol: Theater of Idols, Romeo is a Dead Man, Mario Tennis Fever, Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties and Ride 6. There is also bad news. Riot Games and Wildlight Entertainment have cut their staff after the disappointing launch of their respective games free-to-play 2XKO y Highguard.

In the hardware section we have the presentation of Ayaneo Next 2, a Windows console that sports a 9-inch OLED screen and hides an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 or AMD Ryzen AI Max 385 processor, while those interested in purchasing a screen can take a look at AOC's new 24 and 27-inch IPS monitors. Finally, Discord started the week by saying that in March it will require facial age verification or an ID to have access to all features, but a few days later clarified that «the vast majority» of users will not have to go through this process.
