The Developer Direct has without a doubt been the protagonist of the week. The event showed us in depth Forza Horizon 6, a title set in Japan that has an initial lineup of 550 cars; Fable dressed up to show his fairy tale in an open world in which everyone will build their story; The creators of Pokémon detailed the proposal for the action RPG Beast of Reincarnation whose campaign is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan in 4026; and Double Fine presented Kiln, an online multiplayer fighting and pottery game. All of these games will be available on Game Pass.

Ubisoft has also been the protagonist of more than one news item, but in its case they have not been positive. The French company has presented a new operating model based on five creative houses, canceled six games including the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and delayed the release of seven titles. The cost that all this will have for the publisher has caused its stock to fall by more than 30%. On the other hand, Square Enix has announced Life is Strange: Reunion, an installment that will reunite Max and Chloe to put an end to their story. Its launch is scheduled for March.

In technology, we have witnessed the end of an era. Sony has created a join venture together with the Chinese manufacturer TCL so that it is in charge of its television division led by Bravia and home audio systems. TCL holds 51% of the joint company. We have also talked about Netflix, which in addition to 325 million subscribers has an advertising business that will bring in $1.5 billion in 2025, while Asus has a problem with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D on its Series 800 boards.
