The Evo Japan 2025 has been the scenario chosen by Bandai Namco to break down the short -term future of Tekken 8, which goes through adding to Fahkumram, an already known fighter, and the launch of three updates. This content is part of the second season, one that the community of the fighting title has not received positively due to the changes made in the gameplay excessively rewards the offensive game on the defensive. This situation led the director Katsuhiro Harada to talk about a «disconnection«Among what players want and what the development team proposes.

The details about Fahkumram in Tekken 8 are limited to confirming that this will be the next fighter to expand the squad after the incorporation of Anna Williams, which was the first to join through the second season pass. In any case, Fahkumram is a character known to the followers of the game from his debut in Tekken 7: Fated remuneration. We are faced with a Muay Thai fighter subordinate to the Thai army that stands out for its height, a muscular body and for wearing a pra Jiad, the traditional bracelet used by practitioners Muay Thai. Its appearance in Tekken 8 has not changed in excess.

Regarding the updates, Tekken 8 version 2.01 will arrive as soon as May 13 to apply equilibrium (not yet detailed) and incorporate cosmetic payment content and a new area for Tekken Figh Lounge. On June 3, update 2.02 starring a collaboration with Karate Kid: Legends, the last film that connects the Karate Kid saga with the Cobra Kai universe will be available. The film starring Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio will arrive at the Spanish cinemas on August 8. With this update more equilibrium settings will be applied and more cosmetics will be added to the Tekken Shop.

The third and last update (2.03) which we have today will come in summer and consists of a collaboration with Pac-Man, a Namco Bandai franchise that has been among us for more than 40 years. Players can expect a new scenario (which is part of the second season pass) and a series of free and payment content that can be achieved with the Fight Pass Round 6. In addition, this update includes another equilibrium adjustment. We will see if with all these changes in the gameplay the development team won again the confidence of the Tekken 8 players community.
