Last May Shift-Up was considering launching Stellar Blade on PC, and now it is already openly talking about putting the game on sale through Steam in 2025. The Korean studio has not yet made the formal announcement of this version that will be added to the existing one of PlayStation 5, but from the statements he made during the presentation of his latest financial results it seems that he is already counting the money that will come in thanks to it.

«Our goal is for the launch to take place in 2025,» studio Shift-Up said when asked about Stellar Blade's debut on PC. «Considering recent trends, such as Steam's growing presence in the AAA gaming market and the international success of Black Myth: Wukong, we expect the PC version to perform even better than the console version.» Stellar Blade has more than one million copies sold on PS5. The game went on sale last April and during the second quarter of the year Shift-Up earned 43.5 million euros, which represented a year-on-year increase of 65.4%.

To its investors, Shift-Up has also commented that to increase and preserve the value of the Stellar Blade intellectual property they have released updates and content that «have helped sustain the popularity of the game.» The company comments that sales have remained stable even after the launch. The next update that the title will receive will be available on November 20 and includes a collaboration with Nier: Automata, the Square Enix game that has had a strong influence on Stellar Blade and Shift-Up. Its content features Eve's new outfits and improvements to the photo mode.

In addition to Stellar Blade (and a possible sequel that has not yet been confirmed), Shift-Up is also working on Project Witches, a multiplatform game scheduled for release in 2027 at the earliest. Although the title's arrival in stores is still far away, the development team is considering offering information about the project during the first half of 2025.
