What we see at the beginning of the trailer with gameplay De Split Fiction is a level at which Mio and Zoe, two opposite writers (one of science fiction and the other fantasy) who are trapped in their own stories, try to overcome a story of mine (which prefers science fiction). At this level, playability revolves around gravity and how to challenge it with the tools offered by the story itself. «There is also a persecution of motorcycles and, of course, a brutal boss,» says Josef Fares, game director at Hazelight Studios.
After the level of science fiction comes a fantasy story of Zoe, where the writers can change shape and become fantastic creatures, each with unique skills that will help them overcome the challenges of the stage.
«In Hazelight we love the variety in mechanics,» says Fares. «That is why we have added subtramas, which are completely different from the main road. There are sub -policy at the main levels and appear in a portal. When crossing it, you will enter a new world.» These subtramas are short adventures. Flying through space, setting up a sand fish in the desert as a fry would do with a worm in Arrakis or making aquatic skiing behind a train are just some of the sub -polishes that players will find in Split Fiction. «Believe me when I tell you that you will not want to miss these secondary stories,» Fares adds.
Split Fiction is a title that can only be played in cooperative mode. To facilitate things each copy is accompanied by a friend's pass, which allows a person who has the game to invite another to play. The title has a support for the cross game, so it can be from another platform. The friend's pass is a feature that was already used with IT Takes Two, a game that has managed to sell more than 20 million copies.
