Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is a new installment of the Hell Let Loose saga, which, as its name indicates, leaves World War II behind to travel to Vietnam where players will participate in 50 versus 50 battles in which the combination of teamwork, tactics and arsenal will be key to victory. The title will offer the option to align with the troops of North Vietnam or the army of the United States Armed Forces. Before entering the battlefield it will be possible to choose between 17 specialized roles.
In addition to a full arsenal of Vietnam War-era gameplay weapons, Hell Let Loose will offer players the ability to build tunnels, fly helicopters, and navigate Vietnam’s river network aboard patrol boats. Expression Games promises to deliver a realistic combat experience with numerous improvements compared to the first Hell Let Loose released in 2021. For example, movement has been improved to be able to swim, climb and move quickly on land, and added interactions such as dragging companions away from the front line of combat.
Those interested in the Hell Let Loose: Vietnam open beta that will be held from May 29 to June 1 on Steam should know that they will be able to take a look at the Thanh Hóa Bridge map. In this scenario, players will have their ups and downs as they build tunnels, fly helicopters, navigate patrol vessels, and take advantage of a historically accurate arsenal. It is unknown what game modes will be available. The final version will offer six large-scale maps with changing weather and lighting and six game modes.
