Within the Marvel universe, Wolverine, also known as Logan, is a hero widely known for his role in the X-Men films as well as his appearance in the film Deadpool & Wolverine (2024); Black Widow or Natasha Romanoff, a Soviet spy who defected to the United States, has had a wide presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has starred in her own film; Iron Fist is a Kung Fu master who, beyond the comics, we have only been able to see in series; Squirrel Girl is a secondary heroine who became part of the Avengers; and Cloak and Dagger are two mutated characters from the Spider-Man universe who control light and darkness.
Details about these five characters will be known over the next week, but the trailer with which they have been discovered offers some clues about the synergies they will have with other heroes. For example, we see Hulk launching Wolverine at enemies, Squirrel Girl uses Spider-Man's webs as projectiles, and Black Widow fires alongside Hawkeye. In Marvels Rivals, heroes have synergies that allow them to combine some of their superpowers to create tactics that can turn the fight around.
