Invincible VS is a 3 on 3 fighting game, so the first thing players should do before starting to distribute cakes is to form a team from a roster of 18 characters, each of whom has their own personality and fighting style. The title not only allows you to exchange between the team’s characters at any time, but this mechanic is basic at an offensive and defensive level. For example, the relay system allows you to execute assists to put pressure on the opponent and complete combos, but it also offers the option of carrying out counterattacks to disrupt the rival team’s combos.
In addition to their moveset, each character hides a special hit that consumes a resource and allows them to launch a powerful attack.
Regarding game modes, Invincible VS has all the modes expected from a fighting game, including Arcade, Training and multiplayer options to face players from all over the world in competitive and casual matches. It also features a Story mode with an original campaign created by one of the animated series’ writers that revolves around a large-scale Viltrumite invasion. Regardless of the game mode and characters selected, players can expect violent and brutal moves.
