Gran Turismo 7 announces Power Pack paid content with 50 new races, including 24-hour endurance races

Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi made an appearance at State of Play Japan to announce news about Gran Turismo 7, which three years after its launch continues to receive regular updates. On this occasion the development team has announced additional paid content called Power Pack that will be available on December 4. Next month the Spec III update will also be released.

The Power Pack add-on does not yet have a retail price, but its content has already been revealed and we know that it focuses on real-world competition experiences. The characteristics of the expansion are the following:

  • 50 new races with six different themes inspired by global motorsport traditions.
  • 24-hour endurance races for players who want to test their skill and endurance.
  • From practice to race, through qualifying. Players will be able to play a full session.
  • New races with Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0, a new version of the intelligent agent that will only be available with the Power Pack.
  • 5,000,000 game credits.

Regarding the Spec III update that will be available to all Gran Turismo 7 players, it will add two new circuits (Yas Marina and Gilles Villeneuve), eight new cars and Dunlop tires. Players can also expect an increased Collector level cap, improved weekly challenges, improvements to online racing, a new intro video, unlimited car invites in Brand Central, a new Menu Book seasonal menu, new highlights in Scapes, and new events in Circuit Experience.
