Playerunknown Productions, the company founded by Brendan Greene, creator of PUBG, has shown the first trailer with gameplay De Prologue: Go Wayback, a survival game in the open world and for a player who will be available this summer through Steam's early access. The title will be dispatched for $ 20 and the objective is to launch version 1.0 in a year. For now nothing has been said about a console version.

What we can see in the Prologue trailer: Go Wayback is material taken from the game itself, one in which players will be thrown into a wild and changing open world where each decision will determine its destination. Initially only a razor, a map and some tools to stay alive will be available. From here each one must learn to navigate, adapt and survive. The only objective is to reach a weather station that acts as an extraction point. How will depend only on the player.

Prologue: Go Wayback is a game that uses a land generation technology based on automatic learning, so in each game the world and the trip to the weather station will be different. What does not change are survival systems. Players must read the landscape and choose the best paths to reach the point of extraction, find resources and protect themselves from weather inclement. In addition to the elements, in this title hunger and cold are constant threats that require food rationing strategies and the need to find refuge.

For Playerunknown Productions, the development of Prologue: Go Wayback is the first step of a trip that will end with Artemis, a sandbox Multiplayer who intends to create digital worlds to the size of the planet Earth. Prologue: Go Wayback combines Unreal Engine with personalized automatic learning to generate maps and is able to generate «millions» of different maps with realistic land. An evolution of this technology will give life to Melba, an engine that Playerunknown Productions will use in the two games that will follow Prologue, including Artemis and a project that must still be announced.
