Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves players now have Joe Higashi available, a new fighter who is part of Season Pass 1. This pass is included in all copies of the game, so there is no need to check out again. Joe Higashi is a Muay Thai champion who debuted in the SNK saga with the first installment of the series, Fatal Fury (1991), and now returns 26 years after his last appearance in Fatal Fury: Wild Ambition (1999). We are faced with a fighter who is especially skilled and forceful with kicks, although some of his best blows are with his fists.
In addition to being one of the playable characters, Joe Higashi is also part of the Arcade Mode and the South Town Episodes, in which he travels around the city and remembers how he met Preecha, his best student. The first season pass of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves still has two more characters to deliver: Chun-Li from Street Fighter, who will arrive during the winter, and Mr. Big, who is expected in early 2025. In total there will be 22 fighters between the 17 in the base game and the 5 in season pass 1.
Seven years after its release, Dragon Ball FighterZ continues to receive the attention of Arc System Works and Bandai Namco. Today the game received an update to improve the Z Reflex mechanic and adjust the balance of all characters. Now, with Z-Reflex, blocking the opponent's physical attacks at the right time activates a special screen freeze (except for Videl), and in this scenario you can execute Disappear, a move that is invincible when activated from Z-Reflex.
Additionally, during spring 2026, Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive its first additional character in four years. This is Goku with the Super Saiyan 4 transformation that can be seen in the Dragon Ball Daima anime.
Finally we have news for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, a fighting game developed by Arc System Works for PS4, PS5 and PC (Steam) that on October 15 will receive Meg as an additional character included in the second season pass. Like the rest of the contenders, Meg can also be purchased individually for 7.99 euros. From then on, the season pass will still have to be delivered to Ilsa, which if everything goes as planned will be available during the first quarter of 2026.
