Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake announces its launch for October 30

Square Enix has marked on the calendar the launch date of Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, which also adds a Switch 2 version. The title developed by Artdink Corporation will be available on October 30 and in addition to the new Nintendo console can be purchased in PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC through Steam in exchange for 69.99 euros. Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is a new version of the first two adventures of Erdrick's trilogy that chronologically take place after Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, which was put on sale in November 2024. Despite the fact that the numbers say otherwise, Dragon Quest I & II follow the story of Dragon Quest III, but they do it with a different protagonist that is part of the Erdrick lineage and campaigns are separated by several years away.
