Legacy of the Giant-Kings is a story arc whose first part invites players to descend beneath the Unnamed City to the depths of the Cyclopean Halls. Akhamet will be waiting for them there, a character who will act as a guide to discover the remains of the Giant-Kings, an ancient and mysterious large race that inhabited the Exiled Lands long before humans arrived. They are responsible for the construction of large cyclopean structures such as the aforementioned Unnamed City.
The goal of this four-part story arc is to expand the story of Conan Exiles Enhanced by revealing new details about the ancient forces awakening beneath the world, while introducing new challenges.
In addition to adding a story arc, the update that Conan Exiles Enhanced receives today introduces «a feature highly anticipated by the community.» This is the repair of legendary items, a function that allows you to restore high-level legendary equipment that has been worn out in combat. Anyone who wants to read the full 2.0.0 patch notes will find them on the official website. It is unknown at this time whether the following updates with the missing parts of the Legacy of the Giant-Kings story arc will also be accompanied by new features for players.
In addition to releasing the first part of Legacy of the Giant-Kings for Conan Exiles Enhanced, Funcom has recalled that the launch of this renewed version of the open-world survival game managed to register a peak of 47,949 simultaneous players on Steam, the highest number since the title’s premiere more than nine years ago.
