Polish development team Quite OK Games has announced that Laysara: Summit Kingdom, a city-building game about founding towns in the mountains, will leave Steam Early Access on February 27, 2026. The launch will take place on the same date on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch. The PS5 and Switch versions can be purchased in physical format with a standard and collector's edition (which you have detailed and illustrated at the end of the news).

Laysara: Summit Kingdom came to Steam Early Access in April 2024 with the goal of leaving it in 6 to 12 months, but will eventually leave this stage of development behind almost two years later. Throughout this time the title has received updates with new maps, adjustments, improvements and quality of life changes. Quite OK Games has also been working on a campaign that will be completed with the release of version 1.0. The campaign is a new game mode that includes 15 missions. The first two are the tutorial (which will replace the scenario that now performs this function).

Laysara: Summit Kingdom's campaign is a mix of modes sandboxscenario and challenge. In the mode Sandbox Players travel from mountain to mountain establishing new towns and returning to those that are already developed; In Scenario, a set of objectives are delivered that serve as a guide through a series of missions; and Challenge are missions with modifiers that force you to adapt the play style. Version 1.0 will also add three new characters including the Emissary, who will act as an overseer on behalf of the capital.

On consoles, Laysara: Summit Kingdom will feature an adapted interface and support for controllers. On PC it will also be possible to play with a controller. Regarding the physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, the standard version includes the game for 39.99 euros, while the collector version adds a sheet of stickers, a design book, the original soundtrack and the figure of a 7 cm Yak for 74.99 euros. The title will hit stores under the label of Czech publisher Nejcraft.
