With Blood on Crystal, Atomic Heart players will experience the outcome of the campaign. In this latest chapter P-3, the elite Intelligence Service soldier who stars in the story, joins Twin and his comrades to venture into the depths of Installation 3826 to fight CHAR-les. The goal is to make one last, desperate attempt to save humanity from total annihilation. CHAR-les began as a polymeric AI integrated into an experimental glove, whose capabilities allowed P-3 to scan environments, hack robots, deploy energy shields, and employ powers.

Blood on Crystal will close the Atomic Heart campaign by inviting players to face a new generation of enemies: the Polymers, «mysterious new beings emerged from the horrible experiments of CHAR-les himself,» explains Mundfish Studio. These enemies can take on elemental forms, forcing players to adapt their fighting style on the fly and take advantage of the entire arsenal. To face both the Polymers and the bosses and other enemies waiting in Installation 3826, P-3 will have access to new gauntlet abilities and more powerful weapons.
Players who do not have Atomic Heart and want to purchase the complete game with all its content can do so with the Ultimate Edition. The digital version will be available on April 16 with the release of Blood on Crystal, while the physical edition will arrive during the spring. The physical edition includes the base game, the Atomic Pass with the four additional content available (Enchantment Under the Sea, Annihilation Instinct, Trapped in Limbo and Blood on Crystal), the Labor & Science and Golden Age weapon skin pack and a digital art book. All this brought together in a new SteelBook.
Mundfish Studio is currently also working on Atomic Heart II and The Cube, a shooter Multiplayer RPG set in the Atomic Heart universe.
