Sega has released a general trailer for Yakuza Kiwami 3 that serves as a review of the new features of the remake and the new Dark Ties content starring Yoshitaka Mine. The title will be available on February 12, 2026 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC through Steam in exchange for 59.99 euros. The Deluxe Edition that adds several packages with cosmetic elements rises to 74.99 euros.

In Yakuza Kiwami 3 Kazuma Kiryu and his adopted daughter, Haruka Sawamura, live in the Okinawa prefecture of Japan to run the Morning Glory orphanage. However, his peace of mind will be disturbed and Kiryu must take action again and sacrifice himself once again to protect what matters to him. When it does, players will be able to choose between two combat experiences. Dojima Dragon is a brawler style with a large number of attack techniques, while the new Ryukyu Style is based on the use of traditional Okinawan weapons and allows you to execute combos with eight different types of weapons. Both styles can combine.

Players will have the ability to expand their skills with upgrades and training to unlock all types of attacks.

Yakuza Kiwami 3's content is also expanded to offer new activities, including the Family Time and Dragon Baddie events. In Family Time you have to manage the Okinawa orphanage and make Kiryu the best father in the world, while in Bad Dragon our protagonist helps a gang of Okinawan girls to confront a gang of bikers. As the leader of the Haisai Girls, Kiryu will train them, customize their uniform and motorcycles, participate in assaults on the enemy base and organize a group to prevail in battles.

In Dark Ties, players will experience a completely new story with Yoshitaka Mine, one of the antagonists of Yakuza 3, whose campaign tells what happened before the events explained in the game and reveals his origins. In addition, this content includes other experiences such as Infernal Arena, an underground fight club where fights are held with very specific rules, and Kanda's Damage Control, which consists of completing orders for the boss (Tsuyoshi Kanda) that help improve his image.

When Yoshitaka Mine enters action he will do so with his own boxing-based combat style.
