Last Wednesday Valve shook things up by announcing three new pieces of hardware. The jewel in the crown is Steam Machine, a small format PC to play in 4K at 60 FPS with FSR, while those interested in virtual reality should take a look at Steam Frame, a stand-alone viewer with streaming wireless from PC. Finally we have a new Steam Controller with two trackpads y sticks magnetic analogues. None of the three have a price, but we know they will be available in early 2026.

The second source of news of the week has been the State of Play Japan, an event where we saw Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, The Forsaken Hollows content for Elden Ring Nightreign and even a cheaper PS5 Digital Edition for Japan. In addition, Sony has updated PS5 sales, which already exceed 84.2 million units. On the other hand, we welcome a new wave of games composed of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Anno 117: Pax Romana, Assetto Corsa Rally, Surviving Mars: Relaunched, Lumines Arise, Where Winds Meet and Possessor(s).

This week we have also seen the first trailer for Super Mario Galaxy The Movie and discovered two new characters: Estela and Bowsy. Finally, in the internet section we comment on the approval by Congress of the Law on Customer Service, the agreement of the European Union so that packages of merchandise with a value of less than 150 euros pay a customs fee, and the fine of 5 million euros that the CNMV has imposed on X (which will always be Twitter) for advertising financial beach bars.
