Moss: The Forgotten Relic brings together Moss and Moss: Book II «in a complete and enhanced experience» that will be available on consoles and PC for the first time. The title developed by Polyarc will make the leap to these platforms by uniting the two adventures starring Quill, a mouse that depends on the player to overcome puzzles and challenges, applying visual and performance improvements. Those interested can also expect new cutscenes, a new accessibility option that will allow you to skip combat, and content from the Twilight Garden update that adds a new chapter to the story.
In Moss and Moss: Book II, and consequently in Moss: The Forgotten Relic, players put themselves in the shoes of Quill, the protagonist of a journey inspired by classic fantastic adventures that is set in a mythical territory where the ruins of an ancient kingdom are combined with nature. One of the characteristics of the Moss saga is the bond established with Quill, who always depends on the player’s guidance, protection and assistance to overcome enemies and challenges. Along the way, the mouse also discovers secrets.
In the first Moss installment, Quill finds a mysterious stone that reveals ancient magic and embarks on a journey to save his uncle Argus, while in Moss: Book II the adventure moves to a haunted castle. Moss’s two installments achieved several recognitions as virtual reality games, and now they will seek to find fortune in a less immersive environment and where the competition is much greater.
