ZA/UM, developer of Disco Elysium, has announced that the espionage RPG Zero Parades: For Dead Spies will be released on May 21 for PC through Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store for 39.99 euros. The title will be available with voices and texts in English, as well as with texts in German, Latin Spanish, Chinese and Russian. Later, eight localizations will be added, among which Spanish is not included (but Italian or French is). The PS5 version is still in development and for now we only know that it will arrive this year.

The release date of Zero Parades: For Dead Spies has been announced along with a trailer of only thirty seconds during which the protagonist is briefly discussed and hints of gameplay can be seen. Anyone who wants more still has time to go to Steam and try the demo. This demo of Zero Parades: For Dead Spies was only going to be available to players during the last Steam Next Fest, but the development team decided to extend its availability until April 13. There are two weeks left until they remove it.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies «is a story-first spy RPG loaded with paranoia, surrealism, and a quest for redemption,» explains ZA/AUM. The campaign features Hershel Wilk, alias Cascade, a operate (spy) unfortunate but brilliant who five years ago led her team to perdition and since then has lived in the grip of her failure. Now Hershel has received a mysterious mission that can be transformed into an opportunity to show everyone that he is still worth something.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies is a title that follows in the footsteps of Disco Elysium, but with some new features. One of them are the so-called dramatic encounters, which are moments in which time stops in order to make a series of decisions with the aim of resolving potentially lethal situations. Despite the player's ability to solve problems, ultimately the outcome of decisions is determined by a data roll influenced by the character's attributes. There may not be right or wrong choices, but decisions have consequences.
