The Stellar Blade version for PlayStation 5 needed almost two months to sell one million units, and Shift-Up hoped that the PC version will work «even better than console.» No sooner said than done. The Stellar Blade version for PC that is available through Steam and Epic Games Store has managed to dispatch a million units in three days. It is a new record for a title of a player developed in Korea.

According to X The analyst Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners, a large part of the sales of Stellar Blade for PC come from China, where the game has managed to be a success thanks to the dubbing (not available in console) and at the regional price of 268 yuan that equals 32 euros. In South Korea it costs 62,800 Wones (about 39.99 euros), while in Europe and the United States it is dispatched for 69.99 euros and 59.99 dollars, respectively. Thanks to the push that has meant the launch in Steam, Stellar Blade has managed to exceed 3 million copies sold worldwide between PlayStation 5 and PC.

Stellar Blade is a game edited by PlayStation Studios and its success in Steam has eclipsed in number of simultaneous users to their own titles first-party For a player. In Steam, Stellar Blade has managed to register 192,000 concurrent players, many more than other PlayStation Studios Games such as Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut (77,154), God of War (73,529), Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (66.436), Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition (56,557) or The Last of Us Part I (36,469). Regarding multiplayer, Helldivers 2 has no rival with 458,000 simultaneous players (and a price of 39.99 euros).

Less time passes between a game developed or edited by Sony exclusively for PS5 reaches the PC, but the company does not seem to be for the work of offering launches on the same day on both platforms, at least in titles for a player. For its part, Shift Up is working in the Stellar Blade sequel and in a new game known for now under the name Project Witches.
