CD Projekt Red has presented its latest financial results and in addition to talking about its economy, it has updated the sales of Cyberpunk 2077 and the Phantom Liberty expansion, which total more than 30 million and 8 million copies shipped, respectively. In addition, the Polish company has reported that Polaris, the code name for the next The Witcher, has entered full production phase and is now its most advanced project.

Cyberpunk 2077 sales do not hide any mystery. The 30 million copies that the game has shipped to date compare with the 25 million it had in October 2023, while the Phantom Liberty expansion goes from 5 million units sold last January to 8 million currently. . In both cases we are talking about enviable numbers, which once again demonstrate that a single-player game can continue to come several years after its debut. Furthermore, in this case we must add a complicated start due to the technical problems with which the title was launched.

Orion is a new Cyberpunk, Sirius is related to The Witcher and Hadar is a new IP.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC. In the current generation as well as on PC, you can purchase the expansion if you have the base game or the Ultimate Edition that includes both contents. In 2025 Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition will arrive on Mac. For those who want more, Netflix has an anime (highly recommended) called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. As announced last September, the collaboration between CD Projekt Red and the streaming service streaming It will continue with a new Cyberpunk 2077 animation project of which for now we only know its existence.

Regarding Polaris, the code name of the first installment of the new trilogy of The Witcher saga, almost everything has already been said. CD Projekt Red has commented that the project is in the large-scale production phase, which is the most intense period of development. «We are very pleased with the progress of this project […]»says Michał Nowakowski, co-CEO of CD Projekt Red. The Witcher 4, or whatever the title ends up being called, has yet to be presented and if nothing goes wrong it will be the Polish studio's next big release.

Additionally, The Witcher has a remake of the first installment known internally as Canis Majoris that is in the hands of Fool's Theory.
